Admin-managed magazine blogs that also power gate inventory.
Role of publication sites
Publication sites are magazine-style blogs on custom domains. They serve two jobs:
- Public content — SEO articles, categories, static pages, feeds,
llms.txt. - Gate inventory — pages and articles shown inside Smart Flow Gate hops with ad zones.
Sites are managed in the Admin → Publication Sites area (not by publishers directly).
Admin CMS tabs
- Homepage & branding — title, logo, colors, homepage JSON, CTAs, SEO defaults.
- Articles — long-form posts with excerpt, key takeaways, FAQ, cover, author.
- Categories — topic taxonomy.
- Pages — static pages (About, Privacy) with optional layout zone toggles.
- Ad zones — scripts / AdSense / PPI per slot.
- Domain & Deploy — DNS verify, SSL, nginx deploy.

Deploying a custom domain
- Set the custom domain on the site.
- Point DNS (A/CNAME) as shown; run Validate.
- When DNS is verified, Deploy (SSL + vhost via platform scripts).
- Only deployed + published sites serve public HTML on that Host.
Gate content quality
Write clear excerpts and key takeaways so Gate pages feel like real editorial content — better for readers and for GEO/AEO citation patterns on the public blog.
