Overview
Smart redirect models are single-purpose behaviors on a short link. Use them when you don’t need a full multi-step Smart Flow — or combine ideas inside a Flow (preferred for monetized shortener paths).
Open Smart Redirects in the publisher nav for the catalog and which of your links use each type.
Models
| Type | When to use |
|---|---|
| Direct | Instant 302 to destination. No interstitial. Lowest friction. |
| Timer | Countdown page before Continue. Can require scroll and lock until the timer ends. |
| Landing | Lightweight CTA interstitial (headline, description, button). |
| Landing page | Full platform landing template with SEO fields and ads. |
| CAPTCHA | Human check before destination (also available as a Flow step). |
| GEO | Branch by visitor country. |
| Device | Different URLs for mobile / tablet / desktop. |
| Rotator | Weighted random among multiple destinations. |
| Preview | Show destination preview + Continue. |
| Download | Download-oriented interstitial. |
| Smart flow | Run a multi-step chain (gates, captcha, conditions, A/B). |
Recommendation
For AdSense / network monetization like movie or game download sites, prefer Smart flow → Gate over a bare timer. Gates keep ads, content, countdown, and Continue on one page.
